Trace a drawing

Snap or pick a hand-drawn line drawing. Great Trace cleans it up and turns it into a crisp, scalable vector you can tweak and download.

Pick a drawing. Take a photo of a sketch on paper, or choose one from your library. Even, bright lighting and good contrast give the best trace.
It cleans up. Great Trace evens out the paper lighting, separates the ink from the background, and clears away speckle and grain.
It vectorizes. The cleaned drawing is traced into smooth vector paths — an SVG that stays crisp at any size.
Tune it. Threshold controls how much ink is captured, Smoothing how flowing the curves are, and Despeckle removes stray dots. Flip Invert for light lines on a dark background, and set the Line color.
Export. Download the SVG (or a transparent PNG), or copy the SVG to paste elsewhere.
